Hello Jane & Helen,
Just a very quick word to let you know we had a wonderful time in the Hotel Garbe and the Algarve, the weather was exceptional and the golf was an added bonus.
Just to pass on a personal story regarding the golf, I played well on the Algarve golf courses and when I got home on Sunday I played in my home club competition and I had a Hole in One and I was also second overall in the competition. Thats my first Hole In One in 10 years of golf, the moral of the story is to practice and preferably in a warm climate.

The golf society is in existance now for 14 years and apart from our Irish outings, this year in Portugal was our 7th overseas trip - 2 to Myrtle Beach USA, 2 to Spain, 2 to Portugal and 1 to South Africa. Having a drink in Jack's after we got back, all were agreed that our time with you was one of the best. Your hotel, the beach, the town, the golf, the craic and the sunshine would be hard to beat. I'm sure you will see some if not all of us visiting you again sometime.

I have to say that everyone was really impressed with the hotel, the organisation of the whole break and most of all the incredible golf courses! I would like to thank you personally for how everything was very professional and just how you said it would be - well impressed!
In fact we were all so impressed that we would like to book again for next May maybe a week earlier and perhaps a bit longer. Flying out Thursday morning and coming back on Monday afternoon has been suggested! and playing three or four rounds of golf. Would be grateful if you could put some offers to us to play different courses. Everyone is ready to pay deposits so this looks like an annual event.

Wifie had a fantastic time, she really did chill out unwind and relax, she loved spending her days on the beach, and evenings in the Raj, it has certainly changed her ideas about self catering holidays. She's already asking when we can come back to the Garbe. Thank you all, for the flowers, cake and the strongbow a very nice touch, she was chuffed to bits.
The Go Karting was fantastic, we went there 3 times, first on the small karts then we had to make one last trip to go on the 390cc karts very fast and exciting most enjoyable. The golf was great to, Silves was awesome cant wait to play it again, The Gramacho now feels like my home course so I played really well round there ,its still my favourite.
Everyone of us had a brilliant time, it worked so well for all of us, a laugh a minute and I'm positive we will be celebrating many other special occasions at the Garbe, including my 50th, but that's a long way off yet Ha Ha.
Dear Jane and Helen,
Our trips seem to get better and better, and of course a lot has to do with the superb organisation that you put behind it, little touches like the list of our rooms for each member, and the directions and times to places, and of course your kind consideration when unavoidable things happen. Suffice to say that we be back to you in a few days to provisionally book courses, discuss terms and dates etc for 2008.

We had a memorable trip to the Algarve. We were very pleased with all the arrangements for our trip. The hotel was excellent. I liked Silves as a course but ALAMOS was my personal favourite.
We are hoping to return next year perhaps in June and perhaps with 3 or 4 people. I am sure that there are offers for that month. Thanks again.

Thanks for all of your organising once again. Quite how you manage to book the lovely sunshine is just amazing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to seeing you very soon.
As for coming over for the new year Jan looks good. If not I'll see you in May as planned and definitely again next October.
Now back to organising the golf Golf trip for May, there's been a few changes so I'll mail you our up to date itinerary when its ready.
All home safely, no surprise its 11 degrees and raining.
Sorry about last nights scare over the lost passports. He sends
his apologies, and asks if he can have a discount off next years
holiday as they only slept in their beds on Friday night. Saturday
they slept on the beach and they rolled in at 6.30 am this morning
just in time to pack, have breakfast and leave for the airport. I
think that explains the passport situation.
Anyway all I can say is thanks a million, what a fantastic place,
fantastic golf courses, fantastic food, brilliant service, lovely
rooms, great pool, amazing beach, glorious weather etc etc etc and
the beer wasn't bad either. Coming back again? you bet! all the lads
have already given me their deposits, only this time it will be five
nights. Thats if you'll have us back. I know we got a little loud on
a few occasions, boys will be boys even though the average age was
47.

We're tired - exhausted in fact - but grinning from ear to ear.
It was the most fantastic weekend away we can remember. Everything
ran super smoothly (bar some of our golf and my navigation), the
hotel was perfect and the golf courses ideal. Thankyou for arranging
everything so well.
Our party had a wonderful time last week and wish to thank the
hotel for making it so enjoyable. Everyone was very friendly and
very welcoming.
In particular we would like to thank you for the efficient manner
in which you arranged the holiday. Everything ran so smoothly and we
greatly enjoyed the variety of golf courses we played, if not the
golf itself!
